In addition to the wide range of linear self-adhesive labellers, Packlab offers the Print & Apply system for product traceability. An efficient system that prints and applies the label directly on any kind of packaging.
The Packlab Print & Apply system is available in two versions: the first one, with a pneumatic piston for speeds up to 1,200 p/h, allows applying the label that has been just printed on stationary or moving products, even if they are not aligned on the conveyor. The second one, with a direct-contact system and for speeds up to 9,000 p/h, is suitable for the application of labels on moving products, aligned on the conveyor, even at different production speeds.
The printing method employed is the thermal transfer system and both models can apply the label on the top and on the side of the packaging. Moreover, the second version is available with an articulated applicator to apply labels on the corner of the package.
Packlab's Print & Apply machines can print both linear and 2D datamatrix barcodes, as well as bespoke graphics.
Production speed: up to 9,000 pph, depending on the model.
