Paramelt, a global producer of water based and hot melt adhesives with locations in the Netherlands, the USA and China, will present its full range of water based labelling products at this year’s Brau Beviale. The portfolio consists of hybrid and synthetic adhesives, branded as Latyl, and casein adhesives, branded as Multicollac.
To answer the market’s need for products offering the right balance between performance and costs, Paramelt has been expanding the Latyl range.
The first addition came with the release of the very well received Latyl ES 77, a versatile cost effective hybrid adhesive.
Recognising the volatility in global casein markets, Paramelt has also focused strongly on the development of synthetic labelling adhesives. The result is a comprehensive offering including Latyl ES 100, a high performance and cost-effective adhesive.
The synthetic range is further complimented by the recent launch of Latyl ES 303 – a product offering very good condensation water resistance and excellent ice water performance on one way bottles – and Latyl ES 366 – providing very good ice water resistance but still suitable for returnable bottles. In this way Latyl ES 366 answers the market’s need for a universal adhesive addressing both local and export markets.
At the budget end of the market, Paramelt offers Latyl 6843. This PVOH-based adhesive is ideal for wine or juice labelling, but can also be used in less demanding brewery applications.
