BrewingScience – The monthly magazine for brewing science is the brewing trade magazine of Fachverlag  Hans Carl, Nuremberg.

It offers a media mix of quick and concise information via an e-mail newsletter in combination with the online version with excellent search capabilities in the brewing science archive and in the print edition of a yearbook.

Any submitted articles undergo an anonymised  review system in which the publishing house is supported by renowned specialists both domestically and abroad. The publication language is English. It is published online at an interval of every two months.

BrewingScience is the scholarly publication medium of the European Brewery Convention (EBC), The Association for the Advancement of Science in the German Brewing Industry (Wissenschaftsförderung der Deutschen Brauwirtschaft, Wifö), the research centre of  Weihenstephan of the TU Munich, the Brewing Testing and Teaching Institute (Versuchs- und Lehranstalt für Brauerei ,VLB) in Berlin, the  Brewing Scientific Research Station (Wissenschaftlichen Station für Brauerei) in Munich and the Doemens Academy in Gräfelfing in Munich. Also the scholarly contributions of external researchers and research institutions from the brewing and beverage business are published.

The recipients are informed via newsletter about newly published trade articles (author, title, abstract). The abstracts of the published articles are free at www.brauweltinternational.com or www.brewingscience.de. Access to full texts is reserved for subscribers.

In addition to the publication of scholarly work, the reader is informed with a reader service based on abstracts about relevant scholarly articles in other trade journals via an e-mail newsletter.

In addition to the newsletter and access to the current publications, subscribers receive access to the extensive archive of BrewingScience - the monthly magazine on brewing science, which provides a unique source of information with over 30,000 abstracts from brewing and beverage science publications since 1964. A direct search function by author, title or keywords ensures quick success for searches.

The yearbook summarises all publications in a calendar year in a print version (in full length). The yearbook is a part of the subscription.
