Founded nearly fifty years ago, Della Toffola initially dedicated its efforts to developing technology for the beverage industry, a sector in which it is still one of the world’s leading groups today. The company subsequently expanded the range of its technological applications, investing its know-how also in the industrial waste water treatment sector. The current technologies offered by the Della Toffola Group can be confirmed at the top ranks of the latest proposed. Filtering stations for slurry from biological or chemical-physical treatment systems for waste waters coming from the beverage and preserving industries, wine cellars, dairies, and elsewhere. The machines and components proposed for these systems are: filter presses, self-cleaning revolving drum rotary sieves, static or sheet pack sedimenters, static or continuous reactors, thickeners, mixers, automatic preparation/dosing units for various substances such as polyelectrolyte, lime milk, and acid solutions, scraping clarifiers for circular settling tanks, rotary vacuum filters, and pressurized sand/carbon filters. Self-cleaning revolving drum rotary sieves built in stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316, with mesh dimensions from 0.25 to 2.5 mm and capacities up to 1,900 m3/h
  • Cylindrical or square static or sheet pack sedimenters in painted carbon steel or stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316 with capacity up to 50 m3
  • Cylindrical or square reactors made of painted carbon steel or stainless steel AISI 304 or 316, with capacity up to 50 m3.
  • Cylindrical or square decanting tanks built in carbon steel or stainless AISI 304 or 316, with capacities up to 90 m3.
  • Cylindrical mixers built in carbon steel or stainless AISI 304 or 316, with capacities up to 30 m3.
Tanks for preparing automatically the liquid polyelectrolyte in the required concentrations and for dissolving powders in water, with capacities from 500 to 5,000 l/h. Systems for preparing lime milk with polyethylene or stainless steel mixing tanks complete with agitators and dosing pumps, with manual or automatic lime loading options. Automatic liquid dosing units suitable for acid solutions, liquid polyelectrolyte, and flocculants. Polyethylene or stainless steel tanks complete with dosing pumps. Scraping clarifiers for circular settling tanks with diameters up to 30 m Rotary vacuum filters with precoats, with filtering surface areas up to 60 m2 in versions made of stainless steel AISI 304 or 316. Sand/carbon filters with automatic or manual back–washing functions, made of painted carbon steel or stainless steel AISI 304 or 316 with capacities up to 70 m3/h Filter presses with different types of plates: with fixed chambers in series, with squeezing membranes, plates, and sheets.
  • Manual filter presses with plate sizes from 400 x 400 to 1000 x 1000
  • Automatic filter presses with plate sizes from 600 x 600 to 2000 x 2000
  • Automatic filter presses with single top beam available in models with plate sizes from 1500 x1500 to 2000x2000
  • Simultaneous automatic filter presses with plate sizes from 500 x 500 to 2000 x 2000
All the filters are made of painted carbon steel or cladded in stainless steel AISI 304 or AISI 316

The material used to make the plates is normally PPHD but any other plastic can be used to guarantee complete compatibility with the product and the filtering temperature. Other plate materials include stainless steel AISI 304 or 316 and aluminum alloys.
