Can lines for craft breweries: high quality and very low oxygen absorption rate

With an hourly output of 3500 cph with 12 oz. cans, the new canning line model 8.1 has been especially designed and manufactured for craft breweries and microbreweries.
As a matter of fact, in spite of the limited output, it is a complete line provided with automatic depalletizer, accumulation table, single channel twist can rinser, filling/sealing monoblock model 8.1, lid presence control, filling level control with ejector, can twister, can drying tunnel, ink jet coder and can conveyors.
The core of the canning line is the filling/seaming monoblock model 8.1, which consists of a filling section with 8 filing valves and a seaming section.

In order to guarantee the quality of the breweries’ product, Comac puts at their disposal twenty years of experience in beer processing and packaging, matured through the cooperation with the greatest breweries in the world and enabling them to produce equipment complying with the most restrictive quality standards. Just some examples: couplings with aseptic flanges, orbital welding by gas saturation, welding reduction by 70% thanks to numeric-controlled bending machine, roughness of any part in contact with the product lower than 0,8 micron, etc.

The oxygen absorption rate of beer is a crucial factor for its shelf life, especially if unfiltered and unpasteurized. Comac knows it very well and can assure excellent and ascertainable results to craft breweries. As a matter of fact any of our plants guarantee an oxygen pick-up value lower than 90 ppb at least, which is below the highest levels required by the greatest international groups (200 ppb) and even lower than the restrictive demands of some important American craft brewers (100 ppb). The product final quality is checked together with the Customer by means of electronic instruments to measure the beer oxygen content.
