Vin Service Engineering team has now developed a machine, Twin Glycol, that is able to keep a very low temperature of the font body without compromising the correct beer dispense temperature, while reducing the dimensions of the cooling system and making the installation process easier. The goal is to keep the tower temperature on such a level to build the eye-catching ice layer on the font surface and dispense beer at the extra cold temperature, even below 0°C.
Together with Twin Glycol, Vin Service Dispensing Group proposes the Ice Cube, which originates from the need to dispense an extra cold product. So far a cooling system with two evaporators has been used: the first to build an ice bank in order to refrigerate beer, and the other to cool glycol in order to build an ice layer on fonts.
Ice cube system can be used either with a separate glycol machine or with our patented new cooling system, Twin Glycol.
To grant the best performance and dispense the beer at the lowest wished temperature Vin Service Dispensing Group proposes the new shank for glycol flooding of iced fonts which is the missing link of the “iced” chain.
The new system makes it possible to extend the flooding area to the shank bottom thus forming the ice layer at the tower base too. This implementation is possible thanks to the plastic material. The service of the tower is easier since all the components are reachable without having to disassemble the tower. The plastic physical properties related to the transmission of heat prevent the formation of an ice layer on the shank . The old brass system would extend the formation of ice till below the counter. The plastic material used in this development proves to be highly resistant to hard treatment and is cost effective.
