For the heating of the bundle steam is fed into the pipes through the bearing pivots; steam connections consisting of packing-free and maintenance-free tubular inlets.
Buffer tank / press section
The buffer tank is available in various sizes up to a fully functional collecting silo. An integrated conveying screw feeds the spent grains to the press section, consisting of pressing screw and punched strainer jacket - the drained spent grains are then fed to the drier without further conveying elements.
The dried material leaves the drier through a rotary discharger into the air flow of the fan for further transport.
Vapour exhaust and dust removing unit
These components are designed according to the legal emission limits. The vapour exhaust removes the water evaporated from the spent grains; a cyclone traps any dust particles from the vapour.
The compact plants are available for capacities from 300 kg/h upwards. (Units for nearly all capacity ranges are available.)
The units are designed to meet the high demands for this special application. Important features are low energy consumption, easy maintenance, very few spare parts, and trouble-free operation - virtually without permanent supervision.
The drying plant may be completed by a dosing/mixing system, pelleting unit, dry material silo and bagging scale.
