The DataLogger® is a data storage that is connected to a GPS-receiver and records all the geo-location data in real time via satelite. You can assign location and time of the delivery for each customer served on the tour via the RouteManager©.
This data can be combined with the MDT application (Mowis®).
DataLogger® provides serial connections for data transfer, and the interval for the measuring can be adjusted from 2 seconds up to several months.
If the DataLogger® data will only be used for analysis after the tour the device can be connected to a PC directly. If the current location of the vehicle is sought the data will be transferred via GSM/GPRS radio (cellphone).
some important features:
• easy installation in the vehicle
The GPS-receiver can be applied either with a magnetic mount onto the roof of the vehicle, or if the windows are angled a suction device can be used to attach it to the behind of the windscreen.
The fixed installation on the vehicles roof is recommended.
The powering of the GPS receiver can be done via a solid connection to the vehicles power (12V / 24 V).
• combination of speed and vehicle location
In this way waiting times can be recognized and assigned to specific events, e. g.: duration of a stop at / for customers,
general work break, refuelling.
• automatic data acquisition for bonus systems
The waiting and drive time can be used in bonus systems, so there is no need to manually evaluate the analog speedometer.
• creation of GEO localization for the customer master
By assigning waiting times to customers, and so to a localization all customers once visited can be shown on a digital map. The result is then available for evaluation and / or transfer over into fleet management systems.
• subsequent touranalysis
With a subsequent touranalysis critial points in the planning can be discovered and avoided prospectively. Routes delicte to traffic jams and unneccessary waiting time at customers are ready for reporting.
