Products of Aber Instruments Ltd (3)

Aber Instruments will be showing their complete range of competitively priced “Compact” Yeast Monitors.  The new “perfectpitch” skid from Aber will also be on display, the skid combines an Aber Compact Adapt, yeast monitor pipework and a mini-PLC to give perfect automatic pitching at an affordable price, this instrument is ideal for craft breweries.

The on-line “Compact” yeast monitors from Aber are recognised as the most accurate and reliable instruments for measuring the live yeast cell concentration and application of this technology will result in more consistent fermentation processes.

With the Online “Compact” range of yeast monitors, Aber has condensed the electronics into a compact IP65 housing that fits easily on to a standard instrument housing such as the Tuchenhagen Varivent.  The instrument can be set up and communicate directly to the PLC via 4-20mA current loops from a remote colour touch screen transmitter.  An option of the “Compact” is also available for mounting on fermenters and propagators.  The instruments have a simpler calibration procedure allowing up to 20 different yeast strains to be stored.  The Yeast Monitors are designed to be used in real time with yeast slurries in the range of 5-70 percent viable spun solids and the vessel mounted version can detect the range of yeast concentrations typically encountered during fermentation and propagation.
