Founded in Bologna in 1939 as "Ditta Angelo Pelliconi" (DAP), specialized in the production of crown corks, Pelliconi is a world leader in the field of metal, and plastic closures for the food & beverage industry. It’s a dynamic and reliable group, which works every day to be a strong partner and an important point of reference in the research and development of innovative solutions for the bottling and packaging industry. Let the numbers speak: Pelliconi is the 1st worldwide producer of crown corks with 32 billion of caps fabricated every year in the 6 production plants located in 4 continents (Europe, Africa, America and Asia) supported by 5 commercial departments and 600 employees; in 2022 it reported 275 million of euros of turnover.
In 2011 Pelliconi published the first version of the Sustainability Reporting project with GRI verification. For the past two editions, this report has been third-party verified by Deloitte & Touche, and also added to the Economic and Financial Report.
