Flow Meter IZMSA: Certifiable flow control with self-learning effect

The electromagnetic flow meter IZMSA offers optimised and automated monitoring, especially for keg filling, blending vessels and other dosing applications. Overrun control, quantity preselection and temperature detection create more accuracy, reproducibility, and process reliability.
New certifiable solution for official usage: Evaluation Certificate TC 7520 for installation in official measuring systems according to 2014/32/EU and Custody Transfer Measurement.

Application:
Automated monitoring in material reception, filling processes or dosing applications. In many processes, a proof of the measured flow rate is required. This applies in particular to the transfer of ownership (custody transfer), when billing for purchased products or for third-party filling. In some cases, an official measuring system " approved " by the Weights and Measures Office is explicitly required; frequently, an internal "seal" of a certifiable device is also sufficient. For such applications, the electromagnetic IZMSA-E with certificate TC7520 will be launched in Q4/2023, which is specially designed for installation in official measuring systems and approved for this purpose in accordance with 2014/32/EU.
Benefits:
• Self-learning overrun control: Overfill quantities, e.g. due to valve response times, are detected and automatically compensated for.
• Quantity Preselection (Option): For recurring filling processes, the target quantity can be set. A separate throttling stage improves reproducibility.
• Temperature detection (Option): A direct Pt100 input with time and date recording registers temperature effects
• Simplest commissioning and operation: User-friendly control unit with display and buttons, no need to open the housing, quick and easy programming.

L3 Hydrostatic Level and Pressure sensor: The new benchmark for precision

With its exceptional performance characteristics, the L3 sensor is well suited for level and volume measurement. This works especially well in smaller vessels or those with high and changing process temperatures, where pressure sensors were previously not considered precise enough. Beim L3 ist ein zusätzliches RTD Temperatur-Messelement integriert, somit kann die aktuelle Prozesstemperatur in Echtzeit gemessen und eine hochpräzise Temperaturkompensation in der Elektronik durchgeführt werden.
Thanks to its technological advance the L3 sets new standards with ist accuracy of <0.10 % and temperature drift of <0.016%/10°F: Conventional sensors show a temperature drift of up to <0,03% per 10°C. At 110 °C, the temperature drift is over 2.5%. The L3 shows a temperature drift of 0.016% per 10°C due to the calibrated measuring range. At 110°C the temperature effect is below 0.4%.
