Due to the constantly increasing variety of products and variants in beverage production and beverage logistics, the optimization and automation of production processes is of great importance. Here, those who obtain comprehensive and precise information about the quantities and compositions of the empties at an early stage have an advantage.

Non-contact detection of the empties in the crate and the crate itself by means of industrial camera systems and powerful evaluation software is the key to success here. SCHULZ Systemtechnik has developed the Crate Inspector for this purpose. It works via state-of-the-art image processing and is perfected with forward-looking AI. Information for optimum material flow controls, downstream fully automatic empty goods sorting machines, and meaningful quantity and quality reports are generated in a minimum of space.
