The Bolz-EDEL Group started the new decade with its usual good order backlog in the pharmaceutical, brewery and drinking water sectors. On the company premises in Wangen im Allgäu with more than 5,000 m² of hall space as well as on site at the customer's premises, the production of high-quality tanks and containers was running at full speed.
But then Covid-19 came along and with the virus all our plans were turned upside down. All necessary measures were taken to comply with the hygiene regulations. Organizational and production processes were changed to minimize the risk of infection.
Thanks to the wide range of products, the drastically decreased project inquiries from breweries could be compensated by a concentration on the pharmaceutical industry, so that short-time work did not have to be announced at any time. The diversity of the available products was the strength of the Bolz-EDEL Group.
But also old and new customers from the beverage sector were not neglected. In these difficult times, we stand by our customers and partners in word and deed and try to find possibilities and solutions together.
Meanwhile the bottom seems to have been passed through at many breweries. The frequency of inquiries in this sector is increasing again and some interesting projects are up for tender in the coming period. With the participation at the BRAU 2020 we want to underline this confidence and are looking forward to exciting discussions and new contacts.
