ACP pick & place case packers are the latest packaging solution developed by SMI, in order to give customers the possibility of choosing between wrap-around and an RSC boxes. The latter are characterized by great top-loading properties, with the possibility of stacking several on top of each other during shipment. Moreover, they can be easily custom printed, acting as en effecting marketing tool.
These compact machines can meet production speeds up to 20 packs per minute and are suitable for a wide range of products: glass and plastic bottles, briks, flexible packaging, etc.
Not only can ACP case packers handle a wide range of products, they can also quickly change from one product to another, as well as from one format to another, simply by replacing the gripper.
These solutions feature a pick & place packaging system, with an alternating motion, with loose product top loading; during the process, the case content is protected from hits or shocks and the label is protected from damages. Moreover, product can be stacked in the case during its insertion, without the need for dedicated systems.
Another advantage of this solution is given by the easy loading of pre-folded blanks, ensured by the position of the carton magazine, that is placed next to the machine.
ACP case packers are available in two versions: customers can in fact choose between adhesive tape or hot melt glue sealing.
