The unique design distinguishes it from traditional caps on the market, ensuring product premiumization. The FLOWER cap punctually meets the needs of beverage producers: it reduces costs, as it is only 0.15 mm thick; it is more sustainable, as it weighs less and requires less raw material; it reduces abrasion dust on bottling lines; and it has a larger brandable surface area. In addition, due to the lower top load required, FLOWER is the ideal closure for returnable bottles, as it drastically reduce wear and tear during the capping process. In 2011 Pelliconi published the first version of the Sustainability Reporting project with GRI verification. For the past two editions, this report has been third-party verified by Deloitte & Touche, and also added to the Economic and Financial Report.
