The PET returnable bottle has become more and more important as an environmentally friendly packaging.
The trend for this was recognised at an early stage and taken as an opportunity to upgrade the machine and equip it with the new Unisensor measuring system, type UNISPECTRE.

The Sniffer is a foreign gas inspection machine that fulfils several important functions for the returnable process in a very confined space thanks to the following individual components.
- Bottle contour detection in the machine infeed
- Residual liquid detection
- Unscrewing heads for metal and plastic caps on glass and PET bottles
- Coupling for decoupling the inspection for glass-only operation
- De-labeller optionally with injection
- Unisensor UNISPECTRE for inspecting empty PET bottles
- Transfer and rejection starwheels
