Sustainability in the face of climate change - A status report

Dissecting the threats of climate change for beverage raw materials: Brutal stationary heat domes, severe droughts, huge wildfires, melting glaciers, insufficient snow covers, rising ocean levels and temperatures, extreme El Niño/La Niña cycles, deadly hurricanes, long atmospheric rivers, floods, and landslides hit key growing regions from Australia to South Africa, to South and North America, to Central Europe — all usually at the wrong time and with catastrophic effects on the beverage industry.
